A. Whenever any resolution of this City or determination of the City Traffic Engineer designates and describes any street or portion thereof as a street the use of which is prohibited by any commercial vehicle, the City Traffic Engineer shall erect and maintain appropriate signs on those streets affected by such ordinances.

B. Those streets and parts of streets established by resolution of the Council are hereby declared to be streets, the use of which is prohibited by any commercial vehicle. The provisions of this section shall not apply to passenger buses under the jurisdiction of the Public Utilities Commission.

C. Whenever it is determined by the City Traffic Engineer that any street or portion thereof is unsafe either by virtue of grade, width, or terrain for passage of vehicles with a gross weight of three (3) tons or more, the City Traffic Engineer is hereby authorized to erect appropriate signs and all such vehicles shall be prohibited.
