A. The Public Works Director is authorized to place signs or markings indicating no parking upon street when the width of the roadway does not exceed twenty (20) feet, or upon one side of a street as indicated by such signs or markings when the width of the roadway does not exceed thirty (30) feet.

B. On roadways less than twenty (20) feet in width, where at least twelve (12) feet of paved and unobstructed access can be maintained, parking may be permitted on one side of the street only where specified by signs and/or parking zones clearly marked as deemed appropriate by the Public Works Director.

C. When official signs or markings prohibiting or restricting parking are erected upon narrow streets as authorized herein, no person shall park a vehicle upon any such street in violation of such sign or marking. (Ord. 1030 § 2(8), 2018; Ord. 834 § 1, 1992; Ord. 526 § 1 (part), 1975)
