A. Any person who violates any provision of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished as specified in Larkspur Municipal Code Section 9.24.070.

B. No sale or exchange of residential property is invalid solely because of the failure of a person to comply with this chapter, unless such failure is an act or omission which would be a valid ground for rescission of such sale or exchange in the absence of this chapter.
