If the City has initiated proceedings by way of ordinance or resolution to amend applicable general or specific plans or zoning or subdivision ordinances before it has received the complete tentative map application, the City may apply any ordinances, policies or standards enacted or instituted as a result of these proceedings that are in effect on the date the City approves or disapproves the tentative map. If the subdivision applicant requests changes in applicable ordinances, policies, or standards in connection with the same development project, any ordinances, policies, or standards adopted pursuant to the applicant’s request shall apply.1 (Ord. 1030 § 2(11), 2018; Ord. 702 § 14, 1983)

1The state enabling legislation, Government Code Section 66474.2, shall remain in effect only until January 1, 1989, and as of that date is repealed, unless a later-enacted statute, which is chaptered before January 1, 1989, deletes or extends that date.
