A structure that is covered by a roof or similar device and that is shut in by walls, windows, doors, or other similar solid surfaces that constitute more than fifty (50) percent of the horizontal area of the surrounding planes. Recessed porches or pocket decks, where the width of the recessed area is greater than the depth, are not considered enclosed structures.
