A. A parking space served by electric vehicle supply equipment or a parking space designated as a future electric vehicle charging space shall count as at least one (1) standard automobile parking space for the purpose of complying with any applicable minimum parking space requirements.

B. An accessible parking space with an access aisle served by electric vehicle supply equipment or an accessible parking space with an aisle designated as a future electric vehicle charging space shall count as at least two (2) standard automobile parking spaces for the purpose of complying with any applicable minimum parking space requirements.

C. If an electric vehicle charging station and any associated equipment interfere with, reduce, eliminate, or in any way impact the required parking spaces for existing uses, the Community Development Director shall reduce the number of required parking spaces for the existing uses by the amount necessary to accommodate the electric vehicle charging station and any associated equipment.

D. This section does not modify the approval requirements for an electric vehicle charging station pursuant to Larkspur Municipal Code Chapter 15.55. (Ord. 1070 § 10, 2023)
