Within thirty (30) days after this chapter becomes operative, the City Clerk shall cause a notice to be mailed to all registered voters informing the voters of the change in the election date. The notice shall also inform the voters that as a result of the change in the election date, elected City officeholders’ terms in office will be extended and that no terms shall be decreased. The City Clerk shall send a similar notice within thirty (30) days after any subsequent change in the election date made pursuant to Larkspur Municipal Code Section 2.05.010.
