All existing septic tanks shall be maintained in a safe and satisfactory operating condition in accordance with the ordinances of the City, and the septic tank standards of the County of Marin. Upon being advised by the Marin County Health Department that any septic tank within the City has become overloaded or that proposed enlargement of the building served will result in overloading the septic tank, the City may require abandonment, alteration or repair of the septic tank to correct such condition.
