This chapter shall be administered for the City by the authorized enforcement official. In administering this chapter, the authorized enforcement official has the legal authority to request and require the submittal of information deemed necessary to assess compliance with this chapter, enter private property for the purpose of inspecting compliance with this chapter, order the cessation of discharges, order the cleanup and abatement of spills, levy citations and administrative fines, require recovery and remediation costs from responsible parties, and seek other remedies pursuant to the Larkspur’s Municipal Code and consistent with the Enforcement Response Plan.
