As an alternative to criminal prosecution of a violation as an infraction, an Enforcement Officer may issue a citation for a violation, which shall be processed by the Traffic Court of the Marin County Superior Court, and fines shall be imposed consistent with the City’s bail schedule on file with the court, notwithstanding the schedule of fines established in this chapter for violations that are determined to be infractions.
