Upon notification by the Police Department that an audible alarm is activated, the permittee, their representative, or their alarm agent, shall immediately proceed to silence the alarm. For purposes of this chapter, “immediately” means within thirty (30) minutes. Alternately, the alarm system may be equipped with an automatic shut-off device which shall silence the alarm within thirty (30) minutes, thus eliminating the need for a personal response as otherwise required herein.
