Every person, firm or corporation who for three (3) days after notice in writing from the Public Works Director to remove, or cause to be removed from their lot or premises or destroy, or cause to be destroyed any gum and all gum trees and roots thereof within forty (40) feet distance of any public sewer in the City, fails or neglects to remove the same is guilty of a misdemeanor, and such failure and neglect is a misdemeanor.
